Worship More

I have always loved worshipping the Lord. Music makes me move and get lost in His presence. I feel like my worship has only grown deeper throughout this year! My adoration has grown seeing Him work in and the life of my family. He has always been faithful, His faithfulness was just amplified in this last season.

In this season especially going into the new year I encourage you all to worship the Lord with your whole heart. Look for Him and His work in every thing and in everyday. Acknowledge it and worship Him in and through it. Let Him use you to war and intercede for those around you through your worship!

Stay Blessed

Where Was God Today Day 25

God met me during worship this morning at church and stayed with me all day! I danced and sung and reflected on His goodness during the drive to go see family. His presence was close and welcomed and it brought with it a sense of peace that I didn’t even know I needed. I’m so grateful for what the Lord is doing in and through me in this season of my life.

Make A Note Monday: Take Me In…

It’s been a while… a couple of weeks of silence… I have been busy trying to stay on top of all of my 19 credit hours, internship, wife, and coaching obligations and duties. Needless to say blogging is low on my priority list but my husband told me I needed to post again… so here I am…

Although I am busy I am not too busy to have God stop me in my tracks to worship him! That’s exactly what happened when I heard this song about a week or so ago (I have been singing the chorus ever since)! It’s such a beautiful song about God’s love for us and is a great picture of the gospel and once I heard it I was just in awe of His goodness and every time I hear it I am sent into a state of adoration and pure worship for what He has done for all of us! So with that here is the song I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

 TAKE ME IN…

I Am Thankful For Music

Music is what saved me! I heard music and realized it was coming from a church, started going to that said church and well the rest is history… I have always had a deep interest in music ever since I was young ( I even wanted to make the music you hear in movies)… I still love it! How it’s used to minister to people and touch people in ways that only words can’t! I love music with great lyrics that tell a story, music that can take you to another place entirely!! Today that’s what I’m thankful for, because without music in my life I don’t know where I would be.

Being in His Presence

There is NOTHING like being in His presence! And by Him I mean Jesus! Today has been one of those days where I can’t stop praying, praising, singing or thinking about the love Jesus has towards me and everyone of you! I am so overwhelmed but in the best possible way and there is so much peace knowing that God is in control even when we may not see it!

Nothing compares to spending time with Jesus! I have found that even my normal means of entertainment just aren’t as satisfying now that I’ve spent time in His presence… I guess it’s because in His presence you can be real! You can cry, shout, scream, pace back and forth, lay curled up in a ball, ask questions, read His word, listen, be corrected, yet still be fully and completely loved by Him simply because He loves you and delights in spending time with you! It’s an amazing time of growth and intimacy with the One who created you.

I absolutely encourage all of you to go and be in His presence! It may not be all day like I’ve done, maybe you only have 20 minutes or maybe you have an hour. Maybe all you have is 5 minutes, that’s okay too because in His presence you will be renewed, refreshed, made strong, filled with faith and God is able to do all those things in the time that you have to give to Him. He wants you to know that His Love IS Real, let Him lavish you with that love; go be in His Presence! Amen & Amen!!
